Feature:

1. Better shadow response and higher yield
The half cell module consists of two separate and identical solar cell arrays, which means that the common battery string is cut in half, and these shorter strings form the separated current path. When masking the module, only one side of the shielded array current will be affected, while the other side of the array still generates power in function. In this case, when the module is colored, the affected working area of the blade is reduced by 50%.
By cutting the solar cell in half, the internal power loss will be reduced, and the hot spot effect will also be reduced.
2. Less mismatch loss
Instead of six internal battery strings, half of the battery module has 2 * 6 shorter battery strings. This design can effectively deal with the mismatch between cells caused by shadow, asynchronous performance degradation and so on.
